Starting aid for setting up and developing the farm of the young farmer Irena Nikolaeva Miteva for biological cultivation of perennial plum plantations and hiring of a new plum garden, which will be cultivated also biologically.

The young farmer Irena Miteva grows 20,600 decares of plum garden in the village of Kamen, Sliven municipality, Sliven district and plans to rent a new 7,600 decares of plum garden. In this way, it will fulfill objective 1 of its business plan - "Increasing the economic size of the farm measured in the SOP (minimum 4000 euros SOP)" Will conclude a contract with its certification organization and will start cultivating the newly leased plum garden in a biological way . In order to optimize farm production, the beneficiary plans to purchase a plow suitable for the farm's needs. This investment is scheduled to take nine months after the approval of the project. Up to 36 months from the date of signing the grant agreement, but no later than the end date of the business plan completion period, the beneficiary will receive training on the main environmental protection issues in the agricultural sector and / or will participate in information activities on these issues. With the increase in farm capacity and workload, the need for a young farmer to open up a job increases. For this purpose by the end of July 2021, 1 person will be appointed as permanent full-time worker.
