Creation of a viable and sustainable agricultural holding and transition to organic production by the young farmer Rosen Yordanov Stoyanov.

The current agricultural activity of the applicant includes the cultivation of the following crops: plum - 19,648 decares; apples - 2,000 decares; nuts - 1,400 decares; dessert vineyards - 1,000 acres. Plantations are bred in a biological way. There is a control and certification contract with a controlling organization. All perennials are fruitful, in good condition. All properties are used on the basis of Lease Contracts. The activity of the holding is carried out in the lands of Sevlievo and Gabrovo, Gabrovo district. The farmer does not have his own agricultural machinery. If necessary, agricultural machinery is rented or external mechanized services are used. There are no irrigation facilities, buildings or other facilities on the property. Plant protection chemicals and fertilizers are not used or stored on the holding. The requirements for keeping fertilizer logs and plant protection measures for all properties are not met. The applicant himself organizes and manages his activity. No production staff is assigned. Currently he does not keep accounting. The activities necessary for restructuring and adaptation of the farm are related to maintaining the existing permanent crops and hiring 6 decares of stone fruits - plums in 2020. The applicant's plans are for the orchards to be hired in November 2020 and to are involved in the biological activity of the holding. To improve the mechanization of the farm, a grooming plant will be purchased in 2019. This will take place nine months after signing the Sub-Measure Approval Agreement, observing the requirements. By the end of 2020, the applicant will complete a course of 150 hours and a course on conservation of environmental components in the agricultural sector. By the end of 2020, the farmer will have complied with all EU standards related to his activities, including standards on safe working conditions and phytosanitary standards.
