Project under sub-measure 6.1 "Start-up support for young farmers" for the cultivation of permanent crops - cherries and plums using organic farming methods.

The present project is for the cultivation of permanent crops of plums and plums in the lands of the village of Katrishte and the village of Konyavo, Kyustendil municipality and Drumhohar village, Nevestino municipality, all on the territory of the Kyustendil region. The applicant has signed a control and certification contract under Regulation (EC) 834/2007 and is in a transition period to organic production. During the years of implementation of the business plan the applicant plans to invest in the purchase of motor cultivators, increase the amount of arable land, it will create 7,000 acres of perennial crops - cherries in the autumn of 2019 .. The planned increase of the farm will be fully growing cultures by a biological method, for which he / she will conclude a contract / annex with a controlling person to carry out control over compliance with the rules of organic production. At the latest in the third business year, a permanent job will be opened. During the implementation of the business plan, the applicant will receive training on basic environmental protection issues in the agricultural sector, as well as a minimum 150 hours course for acquiring professional skills and competencies in the field of agriculture.
