Project under sub-measure 6.1 "Start-up aid for young farmers" for the cultivation of spinach and perennial plums by organic farming methods.

The current project is for growing spinach vegetables, which will later be replaced by perennial plums. At present, 27,800 decares of spinach are planted and 1,200 decares of land is set aside. It is situated on the territory of two municipalities - Pazardzhik and Septemvri, both located in the Pazardzhik region. Six properties for which a control and certification contract has been concluded under Regulation (EC) 834/2007 are used and the meltdown is in a transition period to organic production. During the first economic year, the total area of 29,000 decares will be planted with plums. The planned increase of the holding will be entirely cultivated by organic method, for which it will conclude a contract / annex with a controlling person for controlling compliance with the rules of organic production During the years of the implementation of the business plan the applicant plans to make an investment in the purchase the motor brushcutter. In the same period, you will receive training on basic environmental protection issues in the agricultural sector, as well as a course of at least 150 hours to acquire professional skills and competencies in the field of agriculture.
