Digitization of dental implantology activities at Verident Ltd

Digitization in medicine has become a standard for more than 15 years in developed countries and has been gaining momentum in recent years in Bulgaria. In the medical and rehabilitation interventions in dentistry, the use of software planning and the treatment procedures is increasing. From 22.01.2015 in Ordinance 1 of the Ministry of Health a new specialty in the field of dental medicine - dental implantology. The medical standard of this specialty includes planning, implantation, implant loading, and implant support including the therapy of early and late complications and maintenance of integrated implants. This defines implantology as an integral specialty combining oral and maxillo-facial surgery, parodontology and prosthetic dentistry. The main therapeutic nature of dental implantology is the restoration of the chewing apparatus as the main organ of the digestive system. "Verident" is a center specialized in the prevention and promotion, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of oral, maxillofacial and neck disorders. This project plans to purchase the following equipment and software for digitization of dental implantology activities: 1. Intraoral scanner - 1 pc. 2. Laptop compatible with Intraoral scanner - 1 pc. 3. Laboratory scanner with built-in software for work - 1 pc. 4. Modeling software (standard package with implant extension) - 1 pc. 5. 3D printer (dental apparatus) - 1 pc. The project will cost BGN 176175.12. It will provide three new highly qualified jobs in a rural area and will offer a new service with a significant beneficial effect both for the clinic as a business structure and for the patient, the user of the relevant health service.
