Reconstruction and modernization of the building fund for provision of social care with accommodation of elderly people

The subject of the investment is the reconstruction of an existing building on the territory of the spa resort "Sapareva Banya", in a social care building with accommodation of elderly people, with accommodation capacity of 30 people. The location of the investment is regulated plot I, plot 61 of the plan of the town of Sapareva Banya, on the territory of a protected area according to Natura 2000. The investments under the project are addressed in the priority code of economic activity under NACE 2008 - 87.30 "Social care with accommodation for the elderly and people with physical disabilities". The implementation of the investment will provide accommodation and personal care services for the elderly and physically disabled, including provision of food (from outside kitchens), medical surveillance, assistance in activities related to the daily needs of the residents. Occupational health care for occupants will be performed by physicians, physiotherapists, rehabilitators and specialized medical staff. For the implementation of the investment plan, construction works will be carried out for the reconstruction and modernization of the building stock according to the Investment Project. The investment will be implemented in an ecologically clean region, characterized by healing mineral water, near parks, which makes it beneficial for the citizens. In order to be able to effectively meet the needs of hospital treatment and servicing, medical equipment will be purchased for a hospice - medical facility according to the medical technology of the Investment Project. The investment amounts to BGN 1 139 731.67. and will be completed for 24 months. As a result of the investment, 10 permanent jobs will be opened for doctors, nurses and medical staff. The implementation of the project proposal will directly contribute to improving the quality of life of the patients, improve the competitiveness of the region and help create sustainable employment.
