Creation of an Eldery Home in the Village of Avren, Avren Municipality

This project proposal presents the investment intentions of Water Consult - Varna Ltd. to start a new economic activity - a home for accommodation of elderly people. The objective of the investment is to provide services that favor the development of the economy in the region, support diversification into non-agricultural activities and promote new job openings and income enhancement in rural areas, while fulfilling an extremely important social function - care for the elderly and their integration into society. The activities of the project include the reconstruction of an existing building, the construction of a new building and the purchase of furniture and equipment for carrying out the main activities, subject to the business plan (the beneficiary will not apply for funding of the furniture and equipment). The result of the implementation of the project is sustainable increase in employment in the rural area, improvement of the quality and quantity of the provided services. As the business progresses, the applicant aims to respond to changing market conditions and to increase its competitiveness. There is a growing tendency to create complex accommodation for adults offering a wide range of services - rehabilitation, sports, spa procedures, walks, cultural and entertainment programs and games, etc. Changing the applicant's core business will allow them to reorient to remain competitive and ensure the creation of additional jobs; this will stimulate the local economy as well as improve the quality of services in the investment area. The stages of the implementation of the project proposal include: 1. Reconstruction of the existing building with a total built-up area of ​​303 sq.m .; 2. Construction of a new building with total built-up area 1167.93 sq.m .; 3. Purchase of furniture and equipment (no application for the cost within the project proposal); 4. Personnel recruitment, training and commencement of work.
