Increasing the Competitiveness and Sustainable Development of "Independent Medical and Technical Laboratory - Pomodent" Ltd.

The current project proposal is oriented towards the purchase of high-tech and efficient equipment for the creation of new to the candiate processes for the digitized and automated production of dental prostheses. On the basis of a well-founded technology project, it is planned to purchase a complementary, modern, mostly innovative and secured with corresponding patents equipment - a scanner with integrated design software; Slot machine; Sintering furnace and a 3D printer. Currently used equipment is largely dampened, relatively obsolete technology is applied with many manual operations, resulting in a high cost, time and low productivity. On the basis of newly purchased equipment, a new production process will be possible, allowing the production of various dental products in line with their growing demands and with new materials and coatings that are closer to natural human teeth. The planned new process will be in line with modern trends in dentistry. It will allow to abruptly reduce the use of multiple manual procedures and to significantly increase the speed and productivity of labor in the dental product manufacturing process. At the same time, the consumption of materials, raw materials and the waste in the unit production will be reduced, the precision of performance and the quality of the manufactured products will be improved, the competitiveness of the applicant in the ever-growing market of contemporary dentures will be increased. It is planned at least 3 new jobs to be created and sustained in time. Following the implementation of the project the following financial and economic results will be accomplished: - 2,93 years return period; - 34,30 % internal rate of return; - 1,71 PI; 109 969 NPV The results of the analysis show that the project is economically viable and sufficiently low risk, which is an important precondition for its effective practical realization.
