Improvement of the production activity of Mediabord Ltd.

The project proposal includes investments to increase the production of metal products in Kostinbrod, create sustainable employment and promote non-agricultural activities in rural areas. The project also includes an investment related to innovative production technologies. The implementation of the project includes the following activities: 1. Implementation of new production facilities at Mediabord Ltd. for production of products not included in Annex I of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union. The project contributes to the implementation of Priority 6 (P6): "Promoting Social Inclusion, Poverty Reduction and Economic Development in Rural Areas and Area 6A) Facilitating Diversification, Creation and Development of Small Enterprises, and Disclosure of Work places "from RDP. The implementation of the planned activities in the project will improve the competitiveness of the applicant "Mediaboard" Ltd. by modernizing the production and by adding value to the products that are currently produced in the company. The project promotes the efficient use of resources and supports the transition to a low carbon and climate-resilient economy. It will increase efficiency in energy consumption in the sphere. Supporting this project is essential for the development of rural competitiveness. Promoting investment activities will help create employment and speed up the diversification of non-agricultural activities. The project will support the development of "green economy" technologies, including the reduction of emissions and waste, in pursuance of environmental policy. The financial support will support the introduction of production innovations in the activity of Mediabord Ltd.
