The project proposal "Increasing production capacity and quality of footwear soles of Kehayov KSK ". is related to the achievement of the set goals for the candidate to develop its capacity of sole production for the footwear industry and to establish the company as a leader in this market segment. Becoming a leader in the industry can only be accomplished by introducing advanced digital design and cutting systems that deliver competitive product quality. The company has many years of experience in the production of soles from the production workshop in the town of Peshtera, which although falls in a rural region is an established production center of the footwear industry in the country.The contact with direct customers as well as the accumulated experience are the factors that urge the company to recognize the need to invest in state-of-the-art technologies to satisfy the growing need for flexible firms that can meet the demand for small, diverse and individualized sole orders . At the same time, offering uncompromising product quality and manufacturing speed. With the realization of the investment project for the purchase of two new machines (Digital Cutting Machine for Soles and Outsoles with Production Software and Rotary Forming Machine for Direct Molding), the capacity will increase with a new production capacity of 423,000 pairs which added to the currently produced 80,000 pairs, will make a total of about half a million pairs per year. In addition to increasing production volumes, the use of the digital system will improve the quality of the product. Production losses will be reduced, thus reducing the cost per unit produced. One of the most important aspects of the project is through increased competitiveness to achieve sustainable economic development of the company, which is a guarantee for social inclusion, decrease in poverty levels and economic development of rural areas.
