Starting aid for the development of the small farm of Milen Mihaylov

The activity of Mr. Mihaylov is breeding of bee families and production of honey. The farm is located in Todorovo, Bulgaria. Pleven, Reg. Pleven. The farmer cultivates 120 PCs. Colonies on their own property. The beekeeper is registered in the ODBH-Pleven, under Number 5887-0043. The bee colonies are grown in 10 frame hives from the Dadan Blatt system. The surrounding area offers good conditions for beekeeping development. There is direct access to running water from the water supply network. Moderate-continental climate is suitable for raising bees and producing honey and bee products. The expected average yields of honey from one bee family are 25 kg. The realization will be done only in bulk, at an average price of 4.20 LV/kg. The wax works are not sold, exchanged for wax bases. Farmer qualifies for application under sub-measure 6.3 "Start-up aid for small farm development" from Measure 6 "development of farms and enterprises" of PRSR 2014-2020
