Development of sustainable apiarian business in the region of General Toshevo village, Municipality of Tundja

With the present Project the beekeeper Maria Dimitrova Chavdarova is applying for financial support under the Selection Procedure No. BG06RDNP001-6.007 in accordance with Sub-measure 6.3 " Start-up support for the development of small farm holdings" within Measure 6 "Development of farm holdings and enterprises" of the Rural Development Programme 2014 - 2020. Within no more than 22 months, the Project foresees that the agricultural producer would make an actual shift from the semi-market farm holding she is currently managing, to a perspective and competitive apiary business. This transformation will be made possible through a set of measures aiming at the beekeeping farm production capacity expansion, its modernization, ensuring its environmental sustainability and the improvement of the farmer’s competitiveness in accordance with the goals and requirements of the Sub-measure 6.3 " Start-up support for the development of small farm holdings" as put down in the Terms of Reference. As a result of the Project implementation, the applicant will strengthen her viability through establishing herself stably on the bee honey market in the region of Yambol as early as 2021.
