Growing of permanent crops

The applicant's agricultural farm is located in the village of Sopot, Ugarchin, reg. Lovech. It is a plant growing, and in the current economic year 2018/2019 plum orchards are grown on an area of ​​11,000 decares and is maintained as fallow 0,436 decares. The orchards are planted in the spring of 2019 on two own properties. Plums are the Stanley variety. They are looked at conventionally. Plum orchards are grown under irrigated conditions. The planting scheme is 5.00 m / 5.00 m or 40 trees per hectare. Plum orchards are fertilized with both mineral and organic fertilizers. All necessary pest protection measures are also carried out. The soil surface in the orchards is grassed by mowing accordingly. The applicant does not own its own agricultural machinery. Processed properties are defined as mountainous, according to the Ordinance defining criteria for disadvantaged areas and their territorial coverage. In 2020/2021 a new orchard of plums of 5,000 decares is planned to be planted. The properties that are being treated do not fall within the protected areas within the meaning of the Protected Areas Act and within the boundaries of protected areas within the meaning of the Biological Diversity Act.
