Sustainable development of a small farm in the region of Pazardzhik

Farm will develop in the field of animal husbandry and crop production. It is not envisaged to increase the cultivated area of ​​the farm, but farmer will start growing a new crop - stone fruit - plums. The area of ​​the potatoes will be increased by one decar in the first business year and in the second - a minimum of 3,000 decares of plum orchard will be created on one of the leased properties. Currently, the property is grassed and is classified as an area with natural meadows, but it is a permanent use level. Licensed seedlings will be purchased and the necessary agro-technical activities will be carried out in time to create the new orchard. Planting scheme is planned to be 5 X 5 meters on a junction pad. By the second year of implementation of the business plan, the number of meat cows will increase to 16 from their own breeding activity, as is the capacity of the breeding establishment. The calf over 1 year for fattening will be sold as early as the first business year. The rest of the calves will be on sale until they are one year old. Number of sheep will remain unchanged. They will generate income for the farm by selling milk and lambs. A hand mower for the needs of the farm will also be purchased. All necessary agrotechnical crop cultivation activities will be carried out on time. The technology and principles of animal prophylaxis and disinfection will be respected. All aid schemes applicable to the farm will be applied for. Knowledge in the field of environmental component protection will be enhanced by obtaining a TP2 consulting package. All requirements of national and European legislation applicable to the economy will be met and respected. Opportunities for secure sales of products at higher prices will be sought.
