Growing of permanent crops

The applicant's holding is developed in the priority sector of "fruit and vegetables". The farm cultivates 10,161 acres of prunes, 0.300 decares of peaches and 0.100 decares of pears. They are grown conventionally. The properties of which are located the plantations of the applicant are located in the villages of Debovo and Asenovo village, Nikopol, reg. Pleven. The soil surface in the orchards is grassed by mowing. The economic size of the holding at the time of submission of the project proposal amounts to 7629.57 SOPs. In 2021/2022 a new plum orchard with an area of ​​2.8 cubic meters is planned to be planted. The applicant does not own its own agricultural machinery. The properties which are being treated do not fall within the protected areas within the meaning of the Protected Areas Act and within the boundaries of protected areas within the meaning of the Biological Diversity Act.
