Starting aid for the development of the small holding of Momchil Karabulev

Mr. Karabulev's holding is mixed and is located in Dedovo Village, Bulgaria. Nikopol, Reg. Pleven. The farmer manages a property with a total area of 1.500 acres, from which the arable land is 1.250 decares. The remaining 0.250 decares are used for beekeeping activities. There is a 10-year lease, notarized and registered in the registry agency. The cultivated perennials are 0.300 decares of apricots, 0.400 decares of plums, 0.100 decares of apples, 0.100 decares of pears and 0.0050 acres of quince. 0.300 decares are used as a family garden, from which a small number of vegetables are produced for personal consumption. The applicant does not possess agricultural machinery, at this stage all crop cultivation activities are carried out by hand. For plant protection activities, external services are used. The areas cultivated shall not be registered in the IACS. The orchard is young, still not in fruiting. Fruits will be realized on the market in 2022, the farmer owns and 110 PCs. Bee families, which are grown in 10 and 12 frame hives from the dacan Blatt system. Pchelina is registered in ODBH-Gr. Pleven, under Number 5958-0249. The expected average yields of honey from one bee family are 25 kg. The realization will take place only in bulk. The average price per unit of production is 4.00 BGN. The wax works are not sold, exchanged for wax bases. The surrounding area offers good conditions for beekeeping development. It is located in an ecologically clean area, with a variety of honey vegetation with the possibility of obtaining monocleur honeys (acacia, lime, rapeseed, sunflower, amorphous). There is direct access to running water from the water supply network. Moderate-continental climate is suitable for raising bees and producing honey and bee products. Farmer qualifies for application under sub-measure 6.3 "Start-up aid for the development of small farms" of measure 6 "development of farms and enterprises" of RDP 2014-2020
