Supporting the strengthening and development of the farm of Elena Hristova with main activity raising bee families.

The candidate Elena Zaharieva Hristova is 33 years old, unmarried, with experience in agriculture. He has been engaged in agriculture since 2017. The farm is a livestock breeder specialized in the production of honey, located on the land of Nikolaevo village, municipality. Sliven region Sliven. Mainly his income comes from honey sales. On the farm are grown 120 pcs. Bee families. The apiary is located in a yard in the village of Nikolaevo. The property is located in the southeastern part of the village and is suitable for growing bee families. The apiary is registered as an animal breeding establishment in the UABH Sliven under number 8873-0038. The region in which the apiary is located has good grazing, which is a factor affecting family development and honey production. The farm is managed by the producer himself. It is directly involved in the production process. In carrying out his business, he is assisted by his family members, relatives and friends without hiring additional staff. The strategic goals of the applicant are to increase the size of the holding and to become the main source of income from its activity. To achieve this its purpose is to expand its activity by increasing the number of bee families by the end of the third year through own breeding business. This will achieve an increase in the amount measured in the farm SPO at the end of the third year of implementation of the business plan. The project envisages investing part of the funds for the purchase of a cream-honey machine and a pollen dryer, meeting the requirements for safe working conditions, keeping logs for instructing, providing the necessary protective equipment and protective workwear, meeting the requirements for fire safety, as well as passing a 150-hour course in the field of agriculture.
