Breeding of Bee families

The applicant's farm is located in Gorno Pavlikene village, municipality. Lovech region Lovech. It is livestock breeding, involving raising bee families, totaling 125. Bee hives are located in their own properties, which are outside the regulation of the settlement, in the area "Shatrovets" with an area of ​​9,001 acres and the area Gergevets "with an area of ​​2,138 acres. Bee families are in-house rearing, with no mobile beekeeping being practiced. Bee families are raised in 7, 10 and 12 frame hives of the Dadan blat system. Each hive is numbered as required. The apiaries are registered in the BFSA-OD, Lovech and in the register for the bee families raised in the Town Hall of Gorno Pavlikene. Certificates have been issued for the registration of the breeding sites respectively No. 634 / 27.09.2017 with veterinary registration number 5549-0196 and new registration No. 1688300050 and No. 780 / 11.10.2018 with veterinary registration number 5549-0148 and new registration No. 1688340007 . The properties on which the beekeeping activity is carried out do not fall within the boundaries of protected territories within the meaning of the Protected Areas Act and within the boundaries of protected areas within the meaning of the Biodiversity Act. The number of bee families will increase by the check period by 40 to 165. This number will be maintained until the end of the business plan period. The expansion of the apiary during the project period is envisaged to be carried out through own breeding activities of the available bee families.
