Development and expansion of a small beekeeping farm.

Ivan Ivanov has been involved in beekeeping since 1989, started as an amateur beekeeper and subsequently began to increase the number of bee families by registering as a farmer. From the farmer's reference for the business year 2018/2019 on the farm are raised 125 pcs. bee families and 1,000 acres of family garden. The property where the apiary is located is in the territory of the village of Ravno, Kubrat municipality, district. Razgrad. Bee families are located in a family garden of 1,000 acres, ie between different / mixed / species crops, including fruit plantations, which serve to shade bee hives. It is envisaged that the economic size of the farm, measured in the SPO (at least 2000 EUR SPO) will be increased at the selected time of the check on the implementation of the business plan, will be carried out by increasing the number of bee families. To this end, the applicant will reproduce 35 new bee families through its own breeding activity - in the first two years (2020, 2021). Machines, equipment and equipment for the needs of the farm will be purchased - electric centrifuge / 24/42 bee frames / for honey production (need, less manual labor), steam wax mill (10-14 frames) and a tub for printing honey bees (INOX-1, 50 m) The farmer will purchase the required number of bee hives for growth with the new bee families. The farmer will acquire the necessary skills and competences to address the major environmental issues in the agricultural sector. The farm will grow only in the beekeeping sector and by the year for the second payment and by the end of the project they will take care of the cultivation of a minimum of 160 bee families. The applicant will continue to comply with and comply with existing and newly introduced EU standards on environmental protection, hygiene, security and safety at work.
