Growing orchards - plums, nuts and EHR - lavender

The applicant's farm is located on the territory of the town of Shipka, Kazanlak municipality, Stara Zagora district, where perennials are grown - fruit plums, nuts and EYC - lavender. The entire agricultural holding is located in a mountainous disadvantaged area. The total area under cultivation is 29,794 decares. All used agricultural properties are managed with lease contracts, notarized and registered at the Registry Agency of Kazanlak. Cultivated crops are registered in IACS. The farmer does not have his own agricultural machinery and uses external mechanized services for agricultural activities. During the current marketing year 2018/2019, the farm grows fruit plums on an area of ​​6,712 acres, walnuts on an area of ​​1,864 acres and EQF - lavender on an area of ​​21,218 acres. The plantations carry out all the necessary plant protection measures for pest control. There are no employees on the farm for the implementation of the activity at the time of application and it is not planned to hire them for the period of implementation of the business plan. The economic size of the holding at the time of application is EUR 7048,02 standard production volume (SPO). The applicant has concluded a lease for processing agricultural land - levels of 1,599; levels with an area of ​​2,195 acres and an EQF lavender with an area of ​​4,006 acres, which properties will be used from the next business year 2019/2020.
