Growing perennials on the small farm of Mariyana Tombakova

Growing of permanent crops of cherries and plums,to the production program included in the business plan. The increase in the economic size of the holding will be achieved by hiring for cultivation on 4,700 da of plum plantation. An investment will be made in purchase of motor cultivator. The farmer will raise his knowledge on major issues of environmental protection in the agricultural sector by receiving a TA 2 advisory package under sub-measure 2.1.2 "Small Farmer Consulting Services" of Measure 2 "Consultancy services, farm management services and farm substitution services" of the RDP 2014-2020. The farm will reach Community standards with regard to phytosanitary requirements, environmental Protection, hygiene, minimum requirements for health and hygiene and safe working conditions, and fire safety requirements., as well as the Plant Protection Act. The farmer will acquire professional skills and competences, by completing a course of 150 academic hours in the field of agriculture.
