The activity of the farm is plant-growing, with plum orchards growing on an area of ​​11,000 decares during the current marketing year 2018/2019 and being set aside as 3,900 decares. The farm uses two properties with a total area of ​​14,900 acres. The orchards are planted in March 2019 on property No. 073019 with an area of ​​12,900 acres, while the remaining areas of 1,900 acres and property No. 072011 with an area of ​​2,000 acres are set aside. The properties on the farm are used on the basis of lease agreements, with a term of use of 6 / six / years. Plums are a variety of Stanley. They are looked at conventionally. The plum planting scheme is 4.00 m / 4.00 m, with a density of 62 trees per hectare.Plum orchards are fertilized with both mineral and organic fertilizers. All necessary plant protection measures for pest control are also carried out. The soil surface in the orchards is currently set aside. There are no storage facilities for plant protection products (PPPs) and mineral fertilizers on the farm. The logbooks required for the holding are kept. The farm is located on the territory of the village of Uglen, municipality. Lukovit region Lovech. The land of the village of Uglen does not fall within the scope of the mountain disadvantaged areas in Bulgaria. The properties do not fall within the scope of Natura 2000 and protected areas. The farm is part of a nitrate - vulnerable zone. It does not fall within the sanitary protection zone. There is no natural water source near the farm. The plum orchards are gravitated and the Spartacus tanks are supplied to the gardens, supplied with water from their own water supply network. The main objective of the farmer is to expand the production activity by increasing the size of the area occupied by permanent crops, as well as updating the technical base of the farm. It is planned, after entering the fruit growing, that the fruit from the orchards will be sold, both retail and wholesale, at the time of harvest.
