Growing permanent crops and permanent grassland

The applicant's farm is plant-growing, with plum orchards growing on an area of ​​10,595 acres during the current marketing year 2018/2019. Permanently grassed and set-aside areas are maintained. The properties that comprise the holding have a document of ownership. Five properties are used. The orchards are planted on three of them with a total area of ​​10,595 acres. A property of 1,800 acres is managed as permanent grassland and property of 1,599 acres is set aside. The agricultural lands of the farm are part of the territorial scope of the mountain disadvantaged areas in Bulgaria. Although the permanent use of the agricultural property, which is maintained as a permanent grassland, is an orchard, the characteristics of the mountain area of ​​the holding require the maintenance of the area solely through mowing. The property in question, because of its rugged terrain, is not suitable for growing other crops. The farm is located in the land of Yablanitsa, municipality. Yablanitsa region Lovech. The properties do not fall within the scope of Natura 2000 and protected areas. The farm is not part of the sanitary protection zone. One part of the plantations is newly planted, with an average number of trees in the area of ​​37-40 pcs, and the other part is older and fruitful. The areas are cultivated within real limits, registered in IACS. The main objective of the farm is to modernize the material and technical base and build a sustainable farm by increasing the areas with plums and their yield respectively. The areas in the row of permanent crops are mowed and the soil surface is maintained by grass. The necessary plant protection measures are carried out. The compulsory logs for the holding are kept. There are no production buildings available on the farm, including for the storage of plant protection products and mineral fertilizers.
