Organic cultivation of plums and improvement of economic development in the farm of Ralitsa Hristova Dimova - Chorbadzhiska.

The applicant's current agricultural activity involves the cultivation of stone fruit plums with a total utilized agricultural area of ​​10,900 acres. The crops are grown organically and are currently in transition. There is a control contract with a certification body. Three own properties are managed. The activity is carried out on the territory of the village of Kopcheliite, Gabrovo district, Gabrovo municipality. The land of the village of Kopcheliite falls within the defined mountainous areas as disadvantaged. The economic size of the holding is EUR 7897.06 SDR. The utilized agricultural areas are managed under irrigation conditions. There are no irrigation systems in place and no water sources. The holding is not located in a nitrate vulnerable zone. The managed property does not fall within the boundaries of a protected area within the meaning of the Protected Areas Act and within the boundaries of protected areas within the meaning of the Biodiversity Act. Plum trees are mainly fruiting, with young infertiles planted between them (about 20%). The applicant has submitted applications for support under the direct payment schemes and measures. The farmer himself organizes and manages his business. There are no production staff assigned to the farm. No accounting is currently maintained. The farm does not have its own agricultural machinery. Use external services when needed. No plant protection products and fertilizers are stored on the farm. No log is kept for the chemical treatments and fertilizers used, soil improvers and biologically active substances. There is currently a risk assessment.
