Growing orchards - plums and cherries

The applicant's farm is located on the land of Spasovo village, Chirpan municipality, Stara Zagora district, where perennials are grown - fruit plums and cherries. The total area under cultivation is 11 decares. The used agricultural properties are their own and one property is managed with a lease for a period of 6 years, notarized and registered at the Registry Agency of Chirpan. Cultivated crops are registered in IACS. The farmer does not have his own agricultural machinery and uses external mechanized services to carry out agro-technical activities on the farm. In the current marketing year 2018/2019, the farm grows fruit plums on an area of ​​9.5 acres and fruit cherries on an area of ​​1.5 acres. The plantations carry out all the necessary plant protection measures for pest control. There are no employees on the farm for the implementation of the activity at the time of application and it is not planned to hire them for the period of the business plan implementation. The economic size of the holding at the time of application is EUR 7969.51 standard production volume (SPO).
