Breeding of Bee families

The applicant's farm is located in Mechka village, municipality. Pleven region Pleven. It is livestock breeding, involving raising bee families, totaling 125. The bee hives are located in one private yard with a size of 1,257 decares. Bee families are in-house rearing, with no mobile beekeeping being practiced. They are grown in 10 frame hives from the Dadan Blat system. Each hive is numbered as required. The apiary is registered in the BFSA-OD, Pleven and in the register for the bee families raised in the mayoralty of Mechka village. Certificate of registration of animal breeding establishments №361 / 22.06.2012 has been issued with veterinary registration number 58430112. The property on which the beekeeping activity is being developed does not fall within protected areas within the meaning of the Biological Diversity Act and does not fall within the boundaries of protected areas within the meaning of the Protected Areas Act. To be checked, the number of bee families will increase by 40, reaching 125 from 125 when applying. This increase will start as early as 2020, through own breeding activities. The farmer cultivates the bee families organically, for which he has a contract with Lacon Standard Contract No BG-3952-2014 and a Certification Letter for Organic Production and compliance with Article 29/1 / of Regulation / EU / 834/2007 No BG-BIO- 05-3952-2019-EU with validity period from 07/06/2019 to 30/06/2020
