Growing other vegetables - spinach

The applicant's farm is located on the land of the village of Mlekarevo, Nova Zagora municipality, Sliven district, where spinach vegetables are grown. The total area under cultivation is 14,999 decares. The used agricultural property is the property of the farmer. Cultivated crops are registered in IACS. The farmer does not have his own agricultural machinery and uses external mechanized services for agricultural activities. During the current 2018/2019 marketing year, other vegetables are grown on the farm - spinach on an area of ​​14,390 acres and 0,609 acres set aside. All necessary plant protection measures for pest control are carried out in the plantation. There are no employees on the farm for the implementation of the activity at the time of application and it is not planned to hire them for the period of the business plan implementation. The economic size of the holding at the time of application is EUR 7997,59 standard production volume (SPO).
