Growing vegetables - spinach and tomatoes

The applicant's farm is located on the land of Mlekarevo village, Nova Zagora municipality, Sliven district, where vegetable crops are grown - spinach and set-aside land in properties located on the territory of Samuilovo village, Stara Zagora municipality, Stara Zagora district . The total area under cultivation is 19,303 decares. The used agricultural properties are managed by lease contracts, notarized and registered at the Registry Agency of Stara Zagora and Nova Zagora. The farmer does not have his own agricultural machinery and uses external mechanized services for agricultural activities. During the current 2018/2019 marketing year, other vegetables are grown on the farm - spinach on an area of ​​14,390 acres and 4,913 acres set aside. All necessary plant protection measures for pest control are carried out in the plantation. There are no employees on the farm for the implementation of the activity at the time of application and it is not planned to hire them for the period of the business plan implementation. The economic size of the holding at the time of application is EUR 7997,59 standard production volume (SPO).
