Sustainable development of a small farm located in the region of Pazardzhik

Farm does not have enough farm land for the planned development. Farmer will increase the cultivated area by hiring fruit plum plantations on an area of 2,790 decares in the second business year. Farm will develop in the field of permanent crops. Implementation of the business plan will start with the purchase of a disk harrow and acquiring knowledge in the field of environmental protection . Also during the first business year, the applicant is also expected to complete a 150 hour agricultural training course. This will better adapt the farm to market conditions. The cost of production will be significantly reduced. Farm will become competitive. New volumes of production will seek the opportunity to conclude more lucrative wholesale purchase contracts. Farmer will declare annually the areas under cultivation for support under the direct payment and other support schemes applicable to his holding for which he is eligible.
