Raising bee families and improving economic development in Alexander Alexiev's farm

Alexander Alexiev carries out his agricultural activity on the territory of Ovcha Mogila village, Svishtov municipality, Veliko Turnovo district. The land is not included in the list of designated mountain areas as disadvantaged. According to the farmer's current questionnaire, 125 bee families are being raised on the farm this year. The economic size of the holding is EUR 7988,94. The farmer has a certificate for registration of the animal breeding establishment № 38 / 21.02.2017 year with capacity for 200 bee families. The site is entered in the register of cattle breeding establishments of the Regional Forestry Agency - Veliko Tarnovo with veterinary registration number 52850335. The apiary is located in two neighboring properties, which are managed with a ten-year lease. The holding does not fall within the boundaries of a protected area within the meaning of the Protected Areas Act and within the boundaries of protected areas within the meaning of the Biodiversity Act. The bee hives that are used are the Dalat Blat system. All are numbered according to veterinary requirements. Bee families are conventionally bred. Mobile beekeeping is practiced. At present, no accounting is kept for the activity. The farmer has personal beekeeping equipment, a centrifuge and a printing knife.
