Growing perennials: EHR - lavender and alfalfa

The applicant's farm is located on the land of the town of Shipka, Kazanlak municipality, Stara Zagora district, where perennial crops are grown: EYC - lavender and alfalfa and set aside. The entire agricultural holding is located in a mountainous disadvantaged area. The total area under cultivation is 123,714 decares. All used agricultural properties are the property of the applicant. Cultivated crops are registered in IACS. The farmer owns his own agricultural machinery - a tractor to carry out the agricultural activities on his farm. During the current marketing year 2018/2019, the farm grows lavender on an area of ​​89,003 acres, alfalfa on an area of ​​10,910 acres and set-aside land on an area of ​​23,801 acres. The plantations carry out all the necessary plant protection measures for pest control. There are no employees on the farm for the implementation of the activity at the time of application and it is not planned to hire them for the period of the business plan implementation. The economic size of the holding at the time of application is EUR 7953,95 standard production volume (SPO).
