IMPROVEMENT OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND STRENGTHENING OF PAVLINKA PETKOVA'S FARM

The farmer carries out his agricultural activity entirely on the land of Ovcha mogila village, Svishtov municipality, Veliko Turnovo district. During the current marketing year, the following crops are grown on the farm: 0.240 acres of greenhouse tomatoes; 0.444 acres of cucumbers outdoors; 5,830 acres of pepper outdoors; 0.012 acres of green peas; 4,000 acres of watermelon; 1,000 acres of melons; 1,904 acres of other vegetables - cabbage and eggplant; 0.360 acres of vines. 6 bee families are also raised. The economic size of the holding is EUR 7718.78 SDR. One own property, three rental properties and two properties under art. 37c of the SPA. The farm falls into the nitrate vulnerable zone as it is located on the territory of Svishtov Municipality. The property does not fall within the boundaries of a protected area within the meaning of the Protected Areas Act and within the boundaries of protected areas within the meaning of the Biodiversity Act. The area of ​​the utilized agricultural land is flat. Access is not difficult. The farmer does not have a contract for control and certification of organic production. The farmer has submitted applications for support under the direct payment schemes and measures. Sam organizes and manages his business. There are no production staff assigned to the farm. No accounting is currently maintained. The farm does not have its own agricultural machinery. Use external services when needed. No plant protection products and fertilizers are stored on the farm. No log is kept for the chemical treatments and fertilizers used, soil improvers and biologically active substances. No risk assessment has been prepared at this time.
