IMPROVEMENT OF THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND STRENGTHENING OF THE HOLDING OF IVAN SAVOV

The farmer carries out his agricultural activity in three neighboring territories of Gabrovo municipality, Gabrovo District. In the current agricultural year different crops are cultivated on the farm, namely: 12.084 decares of Natural meadows; 0.080 acres of garden tomatoes; 0.660 decares of greenhouse tomatoes; 0.070 decares of greenhouse cucumbers; 0.620 decares of garden pepper; 0.020 decares of green beans; 0.020 decares of Pumpkins; 0.080 decares of eggplant; 5.000 acres of plums; 0.020 decares of strawberries; 0.020 acres of raspberries and is maintained 3.964 acres of land set aside. All managed properties are own, and only one is used on the basis of a signed seven-year lease, which is notarized and entered in the registry agency registered in the "Agriculture" AXIS. The farm does not fall within the scope of Natura 2000 and does not fall within the sanitary security zones. The farm is not located in the nitrate vulnerable zone because it is located on the territory of the municipality of Gabrovo. The properties that are managed do not fall within the boundaries of a protected area within the meaning of the Act to protected areas and within the boundaries of protected zones under the Biological Diversity Act. The terrain of the utilised agricultural areas is slightly sloped. Access is not difficult. All agricultural crops are grown conventionally. The farmer has no contract for control and certification for organic production. The applicant has submitted applications for support under the schemes and measures for direct payments. The farmer himself organizes and manages his activities. No production personnel are assigned to the holding. No accounting records are currently being kept. The farm has its own agricultural machinery. Use external services if necessary. Plant protection products and fertilisers shall not be stored on the holding. A diary of chemical treatments and used fertilizers, soil improvers and biologically active substances is kept.
