Development of apricot farming

Tanya is engaged in growing perennials - apricots, which were created in 2019. The properties currently cultivated on the farm are four in the land of Gradevo village, municipality. Simitli, with three of them growing apricots with a total area of ​​10.41 acres, and one property - 0.934 acres set aside. The objective of applying under sub-measure 6.3 "Starting aid for the development of small farms" of measure 6 "Development of farms and enterprises" of the Rural Development Program 2014-2020 to the applicant is economic development and strengthening of the agricultural holding as a sustainable and viable unit, improving environmental protection and combating climate change. Tanya's agricultural development will aim at market orientation, increasing the applicant's competitiveness, reducing the cost of using external services. To achieve the objectives, the following actions will be carried out by the farmer: Completion of a course involving training on major environmental issues in the agricultural sector; Improve the mechanization of the farm by purchasing a lawn mower necessary for the farm's operations. Improving the quantity and quality of production;  Increasing the economic size of the holding by at least EUR 2,000 measured in Standard Production Volume. Completed 150 hours agricultural training course
