Organic breeding of bee families and improving economic development in Iskra Hristova's farm

Iskra Hristova carries out her agricultural activity on the territory of Dryanovo, Dryanovo Municipality, Gabrovo District. The land is not included in the list of designated as disadvantaged mountain areas, but falls in a less favored area other than mountainous. According to the farmer's current questionnaire, 100 bee families are being raised on the farm this current year. The economic size of the holding is EUR 6391,15. The farmer has a certificate for registration of the animal breeding establishment №141 / 04.05.2015 with a capacity of 100 bee families. The site is entered in the register of cattle breeding establishments of the Regional Forestry and Food Agency - Gabrovo with veterinary registration number 5370-0158. The apiary is located in a property managed on the basis of a ten-year real estate lease. The contract is notarized and registered at the Registry Office in Dryanovo. The property is with number 069074 and is located in Dryanovo, area "Vechti Vineyards". The property has an area of ​​1,942 decares. The holding does not fall within the boundaries of a protected area within the meaning of the Protected Areas Act and within the boundaries of protected areas within the meaning of the Biodiversity Act. The bee hives that are being worked on are 10 frames, the Dalat Blat system. All are numbered according to veterinary requirements. Bee families are organically raised. At the time of application under sub-measure 6.3, the farmer has a certification letter for organic honey production. The farmer has a contract with a controlling organization and is approved under measure 11 "Organic Agriculture". Until now, no subtle beekeeping has been practiced. At present, no accounting is kept for the activity. The farmer has a centrifuge, a print tub and a mat.
