Troyan is within the reach of the less favored areas in Bulgaria. The farm is not part of a nitrate-vulnerable zone. It does not fall within the sanitary protection zone. Tomatoes grown in the greenhouse and outdoors are the vegetable crops on the farm. Old traditional Bulgarian varieties of tomatoes are used. They are grown on a structure planted on nests of two plants in a nest at distances of 75-80 cm between the nests. Areas in permanent crops are maintained by grass. Prunes are both newly planted and older and are fertile. The varieties used are Stanley and Chacha Lepotica. They are planted according to a scheme that provides them with a density of plants in an area of ​​37 to 40 pcs. The apples have an average plant density in the area of ​​47 - 50 pcs. The varieties are old traditional Bulgarian varieties. The planned orchards with plums and apples will be planted by the end of the third marketing year on the holding, as follows: Plums - 2,500 acres under the scheme 5m x 5m and density 40 pcs. plants per hectare, apples - 0,600 decares according to the scheme 5m x 4m and the density of the plants per hectare 50 pcs.
