The applicant's farm is growing in the priority sector "fruit and vegetables". 10,800 decares of plum plantations are grown on the farm. The property of the applicant's plantations is located in the Mountain region, in the territory of the town of Troyan, municipality of Troyan, region of Lovech. The orchards are grown conventionally, and the soil surface is maintained by soil tillage and mowing. The economic size of the holding at the time of submission of the project proposal is 7824.61 SPV. In 2021/2022, it is planned to plant a new orchard with plums in the area of 3 decares. Presenly there are no employees to perform the activity and there are no plans of employment. The implementation of the agricultural activity is supported by the applicant's family. The company maintains bilateral accounting. The applicant is VAT registered and does not participate in producer groups or organizations. The farm is not located in a nitrate-vulnerable zone. It is located in a mountain area. The arable land is not subject to erosion. The land is not in the sanitary protection zone. The orchard is grown conventionally and in non-irrigation conditions. It is registered with IACS to receive subsidies from approved area support schemes for direct payments. The properties that are being cultivated do not fall within the boundaries of protected areas within the meaning of the Protected Areas Act and within the boundaries of protected areas within the meaning of the Biodiversity Act.
