Sustainable development of a small farm located in the region of Pazardzhik

Farm will develop in the field of vegetable production. An increase in the farmland is envisaged. In the first business year of the implementation of the business plan, at least 6,000 decares of agricultural land will be rented for cultivation of a new crop - potatoes. Tomatoes - open field production at the expense of part of the area with pepper - open production will also be growing. Greenhouse tomatoes will be grown throughout the entire lifetime of the business plan. In the first marketing year, a potato planter and a sprayer will be purchased - a shed combined for the needs of the farm. Farmer will complete a training course for a professional user of PPPs from a professional use category and will register with the official phytosanitary control register as a producer of potatoes for consumption. All necessary agrotechnical crop cultivation activities will continue to be carried out on time. All the requirements of national and European legislation applicable to the economy will be respected. Knowledge will be gained in the field of environmental protection by obtaining a TP 2 consultancy package under sub-measure 2.1.2 of the NAAS. Opportunities will be sought to conclude lucrative wholesale purchase contracts at higher prices. Farmer will declare annually the areas under cultivation for support under the direct payment and other support schemes applicable to his holding for which he is eligible.
