Sustainable development of a small farm in the region of Pazardzhik

Farm will be developed in the field of crop production. It is envisaged to increase the economic size of the farm in the second business year by hiring 2,0000 ha of rose plantations. The fallow land will be phased out by the second business year as they are leased with one-year contracts and there is no certainty that they will be renewed. Three of them have not been renewed for the 2019/2020 economic year. Implementation of the business plan will start in the first business year with the activities for cultivation of crops and the purchase of bush cutters for the needs of the farm. In the second business year, a course of 150 hours in the field of agriculture will be completed. All necessary agrotechnical crop cultivation activities will continue to be carried out on time. All the requirements of national and European legislation applicable to the economy will be respected. Organic production rules for organic crops will be respected. Registration to the BFSA will be renewed and documentation will be kept regularly. Opportunities will be sought to conclude lucrative wholesale purchase contracts at higher prices. Farmer will declare annually the areas under cultivation for support under the direct payment and other support schemes applicable to her holding for which she is eligible.
