Sustainable development of a small farm in the region of Pazardzhik

Farm will grow in the area of ​​dairy cattle. The total amount of arable land will not change. The number of dairy cows will increase by two more to 9 dairy cows as the capacity of the breeding establishment. The increase will be with one cow from its own breeding activities and the purchase of another one. That will happen in the second business year of implementation of the business plan. Implementation of the BP will start in the first business year with the activities of raising animals and crops and buying a mower, haymaker and power shepherd for the needs of the farm. Revenues for the farm will come from the sale of milk. The owner will receive a TP 2 consultancy package under sub-measure 2.1.2 of the NAAS. Registration will be made at the BFSA - Plant Protection Department and the necessary documentation will be kept regarding the managed meadows. Successful implementation of the production program and the set goals will require: Adherence to the breeding technology and ensuring proper and balanced nutrition for the animals, depending on their age, productivity and physiological condition. Compliance with the principles of prophylaxis and disinfection in order to prevent animal diseases. Compliance with the requirements of protection and welfare in their breeding and use. Ensuring optimal microclimatic parameters in the breeding premises. Farmer will apply for all farm support schemes. Achieving and complying with all applicable national and European legislation.
