"Start-up support for the development and modernization of the small farm of Mitra Dimitrova Kokudeva for cultivation of perennials and tomatoes in the village of Osikovo, Garmen municipality, Blagoevgrad district"

The project proposal aims to obtain start-up aid for the development and modernization of the small farm of the farmer Mitra Dimitrova Kokudeva, located in the village of Osikovo, Garmen municipality, Blagoevgrad district. At present, on the farm are grown perennial cherries /8.500 decares/, tomatoes (2.200 decares) and land areas (2.057 decares) . The initial economic size of the farm, measured in the standard production volume, is BGN 15 595.30. The increase in the economic size of the farm is envisaged to be BGN 4 078.20 through the planting of 4,200 decares of strawberries on additionally rented land. In order to improve the mechanization of the farm, the farmer will buy a long-term tangible asset - a truck up to 3.5 t. which will help the farmer to transport the agricultural implements and production. Within a period of 9 months from the conclusion of the grant agreement, the farmer will pass a course of 18 hours on the problems of environmental protection in agricultural sector.The result of the project will be a viable, modernized and competitive agricultural holding for perennials cherries, strawberries and tomatoes.
