Supporting the development of a beekeeping farm

The project proposal of the farm manager Stanislav Toshkov Stoykov is in line with the goals of sub-measure 6.3 "Starting aid for the development of small farms" of measure 6 "Development of farms and enterprises" of the RDP 2014 - 2020 for economic development and strengthening of small farms as sustainable and viable units; accelerating the modernization and technological renewal of small farms and improving environmental protection and adaptation to climate change. The expected results with a view to the implementation of the proposed project contribute to the economic development and strengthening of small agricultural holdings in sustainable and viable units and increase their viability, improve environmental protection and adaptation to climate change and accelerate their modernization and technological renewal. The project proposal represents an agricultural holding consisting of 120 bee families located in apiary in Izvor Mahala village, Kula municipality, Vidin district. In view of the development of the farm and its economic size, it is envisaged to increase the number of bee families to 170. The strategy for the implementation of the project activities also envisages the purchase of a machine for printing honey in order to improve the modernization of the farm.
