Rusi Petrov has been engaged in beekeeping since 2009 and is registered as an agricultural farmer in the Regional Directorate of Agriculture, Silistra in accordance with Ordinance No. 3 of the MAF on the establishment and maintenance of a register of farmers. Agricultural activity develops on the territory of Dulovo municipality, on the territory of the village of Varbino. The holding does not fall within the boundaries of the Protected Areas within the meaning of the Protected Areas Act, as well as within the boundaries of the Protected Areas within the meaning of the Biodiversity Act, but is located in a nitrate-vulnerable zone. 122 livestock families are raised in the breeding establishment. Bee families are bred in the conventional method, in 12 frame hives of Dadan Blat. Rusi Petrov has a registered beekeeping facility located in the village of Varbino. The apiary has a veterinary registration number 7674-0054 and a capacity of 200 beehives registered in the BFSA with a certificate for registration under Art. 137, para. 6 of the Law on Veterinary Medical Activity.
