Starting aid for the development of the small farm of Maria Stefanova

The activity of Mrs. Stefanova is breeding of bee families and production of honey. The farm is located in C. Touchitsa, Bulgaria. Pleven, Reg. Pleven. and the City of Svishtov Common. Svishtov, Reg. Veliko Turnovo. The farmer cultivates 119 PCs. Colonies located in two apiary. The properties used are rented notarised and entered in the Agency for the registration of rental contracts with a term of 10 years. There are two outbuildings with a total built-up area of 26 m2 and 32 m2, which are also used for beekeeping purposes. They are adapted according to the requirements of the "good beekeeping practices ". There are separate rooms for extraction of honey with anteroom, storage depots for honey and warehouses for storing beekeeping equipment. Agricultural business has a manual 6-frame centrifuge, maturator and other small beekeeping equipment. The apiaries are registered in ODBH-Pleven and V. Tarnovo, under the numbers 5892-0100 and 5250-0170. The bee colonies are kept in 10 frame hives from the Dandan Blatt system and multihull hives from the Langstrot Ruth System. The surrounding area offers good conditions for beekeeping development. There is direct access to running water from the water transmission networks. Moderate-continental climate is suitable for raising bees and producing honey and bee products. The expected average yields of honey from one bee family are 19 kg. The realization will be carried out mainly in wholesale, at a price of 3.80 BGN/Kg. The wax works are not sold, exchanged for wax bases. The farmer qualifies for the application under sub-measure 6.3 "Starting aid for the development of small farms" of measure 6 "development of farms and enterprises" of the RDP 2014-2020.
