Growing perennials: fruit - cherries and apples, EHR - lavender and vegetables - tomatoes

The applicant's farm is located on the land of Dolno izvorovo village, Kazanlak municipality, Stara Zagora district, where perennial crops are grown: fruit seedlings - cherries, fruit seeds - apples, EQF - lavender and vegetables - open tomatoes. The entire agricultural holding is located in a mountainous disadvantaged area. The total area under cultivation is 22,468 decares. The used agricultural properties are managed by lease contracts, notarized and registered at the Registry Agency of Kazanlak, only one property is the property of the applicant. Cultivated crops are registered in IACS. The farmer does not have his own agricultural machinery and uses external mechanized services for agricultural activities. During the current marketing year 2018/2019, the farm grows fruit cherries on an area of ​​3,997 acres, apples on an area of ​​1,074 acres, lavender on an area of ​​14,360 acres and tomatoes open production on an area of ​​3,037 acres. The plantations carry out all the necessary plant protection measures for pest control. There are no employees on the farm for the implementation of the activity at the time of application and it is not planned to hire them for the period of implementation of the business plan. The economic size of the holding at the time of application is EUR 7149.24 standard production volume (SPO).
