"Start-up support for the development and modernization of the farm of Ahmed Ahmed Kadi for cultivation of perennials and tomatoes in the village of Breznitsa, Gotse Delchev municipality, Blagoevgrad district"

The project proposal aims to obtain start-up aid for the development and modernization of the small farm of the young farmer Ahmed Ahmed Kadi, located in the village of Breznitsa, Gotse Delchev municipality, Blagoevgrad district. At present, on the farm are grown perennial cherries /1.000 decares/, plums (1.000 decares), apples /2.000 decares/, pears /0.852 decares/, tomatoes (6.000 decares) and land areas (3.680 decares) . The initial economic size of the farm, measured in the standard production volume, is BGN 15 338.63. The increase in the economic size of the farm is envisaged to be BGN 4 035.00 through the planting of another 2,500 decares of tomatoes on the available properties at the time of the application. In order to improve the mechanization of the farm, the farmer will buy a long-term tangible asset - a tractor with attached equipment that will facilitate the cultivation of the land. Within a period of 9 months from the conclusion of the grant agreement, the farmer will pass a course of 18 hours on the problems of environmental protection in agricultural sector.The result of the project will be a viable, modernized and competitive agricultural holding for perennials of cherries, plums, apples, pears and tomatoes.
