DEVELOPMENT OF BEEKEEPING BY INCREASING BEE FAMILIES AND HONEY PRODUCTION.

Mariana Mitreva starts to study bee families and their cultivation out of curiosity. In 2004. Bee families began to grow, with only 20. At that time, the bee families grew and their cultivation became more of a hobby for Marianne. In 2016 it officially registers as a farmer and now raises 124 whole bee families. Expectations The result of the successful implementation of the project is increasing the bee families from 124 to 164. over a period of 2 years. This will lead to increased productivity, which in turn will lead to higher output and increased market share. The most important objective is to increase the number of bees and to preserve their biodiversity, since since 2012 the EU alone has observed high bee mortality in almost all European countries, including Bulgaria.
