Start-up aid for the development of a goat farm

The current project proposal aims at the development of a mixed farm, in which a total of 56 are grown. goats, including: goats - mothers - 44 pcs., goats - others - 12 pcs. and 2,977 decares of perennial plum plantations. Goats are raised on pasture. The perennial plantations and the livestock sites, which are two, are located on the land of the village of Osikovitsa, municipality. Pravets, obl. Sofia.During the implementation of the business plan, the applicant plans to increase the number of reared goats to 66. In order to comply with the applicable Community Standards for on-farm biosecurity, the farmer shall undergo a training course of at least 8 hours on topics related to biosecurity measures and a 30-hour training course in agriculture, and will invest in the purchase of disinfection equipment - a motor sprayer for disinfection of the farm.There will also be a 30-hour course in agriculture, as well as a course of at least 8 hours on the main issues of environmental protection in agriculture. In order to meet the Community Standards on phytosanitary requirements, the farmer will use only authorized plant protection products and will keep a timely plant protection diary, which he will certify annually in the Regional Directorate for Food Safety.
