Reconstruction and rehabilitation of existing streets, their facilities and accessories in Shabla, Municipality of Shabla

This project proposal aims to improve living conditions in Shabla through reconstruction and rehabilitation of existing roads, their facilities and accessories, which is in line with the basic objectives of sub-measure 7.2. "Investments in the creation, improvement or extension of all types of small scale infrastructure" of Measure 7 "Main services and renovation of rural areas" of the Rural Development Program for the period 2014 - 2020 co-financed by the European Agricultural Fund Rural Development (EAFRD), namely "to promote social inclusion, poverty reduction, economic development and the quality of life in rural areas". The project proposal, which applies for reconstruction and rehabilitation of existing roads, their facilities and their accessories in Shabla, Shabla Municipality is related to improving living conditions in rural areas by improving existing public technical infrastructure. In this way, sustainable economic development of the municipality will be achieved and standards for access to quality street infrastructure between Shabla Municipality and other large agglomeration areas will be harmonized. The renovation of the existing infrastructure will help to reduce disproportions in the territorial distribution of the population and the depopulation of rural areas. Improving the quality and accessibility of basic services to the population as well as infrastructure in rural areas are of particular importance for retaining the population and creating the right conditions for development in each area. Through the implementation of the project, Shabla and the municipality as a whole will become a more attractive place for living and for business, helping to retain the population and attract investment in the town.
