Rehabilitation and reconstruction of the street network in the village of Chavdar, Chavdar Municipality

In the municipality of Chavdar, as well as in the majority of the municipalities in the country, exist overcome economic, social and demographic problems, which are difficult to overcome. In the territory of Chavdar Municipality the potential and mobilized internal resources should be utilized to meet the needs of the local community, to develop a competitive local economy, to modernize the existing agriculture and to develop the municipality as a whole. As a prerequisite, the street network has a structural importance for the economy of the village of Chavdar. The Chavdar Municipality's vision of development is to develop and become an attractive place to live and work, providing a good living environment, attracting and retaining its population with a competitive, diversified local economy supported by a socially responsible and competent local government and administration . Effective street network repairs are fundamental to the municipal administration's social, economic and development policy, travel comfort and traffic safety, reduced transportation costs and maintenance costs for the street network. The project proposal plans reconstruction of street pavements, sidewalks and curbs in the village of Chavdar, as well as rehabilitation of separate sections and construction of asphalt pavement on new streets. The underlying streets of the project are the main arteries in the settlement and connect the settlement with a higher class road, which means that they have to be in good and safe condition, which is a prerequisite for attracting investments and promoting employment. Besides the reconstruction of the street network, activities are planned for supervision and project management. The project design and development activities are currently being assigned and implemented.
